CURLCUT FOR NEW CLIENTS

Book a new client appointment and customized product and home care education.

WHAT TO EXPECT

If you've seen me in the past but it's been more than a year since your last haircut with me, please select New Client Appointment.

 

If you've decided that you want to fully embrace your natural texture and learn about how to best care for your hair this is the place for you! First-time appointments typically last around two and a half to three hours and take place at my salon suite in San Jose, CA. We'll spend time when you first arrive chatting about your current routine and the products that you use so that I can get a better understanding of your home practice and goals for our session. That way we can develop a game plan for how to best achieve those goals over time. New client sessions typically last 2.5 to 3 full hours as noted in the booking system, so please make sure you have this full block of time so that you get the full experience.

 

I work during the week, and I release appointments on the 15th of the month for the coming month unless otherwise noted. 

I offer CurlCut services in salon to young folks ages 12+. If you have a child younger than 12, I offer both in person and virtual consultations and education. Please contact me at kiafaystyles@gmail.com for youth consultations. 

I'll be cleansing, conditioning, styling and cutting your hair during our appointment. I focus on using brands that are results-driven, non-toxic and environmentally low-impact. I'll also spend time showing you how I care for your hair so that you can replicate the results at home. When you book your appointment, you'll be asked to complete a simple intake form that gives me a bit more history about your hair so we can maximize our time together.  My goal is for you to leave feeling empowered and confident about not only your look but how to maintain it over time! **Please note that while I no longer require vaccination and booster in order to visit, I greatly appreciate if you're able to take a rapid test on the day of your appointment to confirm negative status. This step is to ensure my safety as someone who works with immunocompromised individuals and the elderly. Thank you!
